Well, sorry for the blog silence, we’ve just been so very busy on the farm. Pork came in and went out this week. With record sales on sausages.
I know many of you may have missed out, so we are going to make it up to you. I told everyone 5 weeks to super sausage selection….. Well, make that 2!
We’ve managed to re-book our piggy for next week and will have sausages available for you Wednesday June 10!
I’m doing double batches of:
- Honey garlic
- Sweet Italian
- Green goddess
- Boudin Blanc (single batch)
- Bratwurst ( single batch)
- Breakfast ( if possible, fingers crossed)
So. It will be awesome.
I’m going to be busy with sausage prep so I will be closed except for egg sales this weekend.
I’ll also be using our own green garlic in this sausage round, which always provides wonderful flavour.
We will additionally have Bronto bacon available. I’ll try to find a pic so you can see what I’m talking about. It’s like regular bacon but 3x the size. It’s a fun, unique product.
Chickens – June 15 -evening pickup for first dibs.
Beef – end of July at best. Will keep you posted.
And could you all do a wee rain dance for us?
We need the grass to grow.
Ps. The egg regular waiting list is now full and closed. I will often have a few extras each weekend though, so always ask. 🙂
