Hello again! I know it’s been wayyyy too long and I’m so very much overdue for a post but life has been busy!
Let’s try and catch up a little.
Well, Covid happened and I feel like I had children before Covid and 3 young adults afterwards.
So, that was crazy! I homeschooled my monkeys and loved being with them everyday so much. I am so grateful I had that opportunity. ❤️ But in 2024 we decided it was the right time for highschool, and off they went! That was a big change for us here at the farm and we needed to find our new rhythm. Two years in and we’re finding our groove now.
My daughter is very active in the kitchen and with the horses. The boys are my evening chore guys and the heavy lifters! And of course they are all good helpers on animal load up days too. We are so very blessed to live this life together. 🙏
I am hoping to be able to inspire them all to be more involved with the farm for as long as I have their able minds and bodies at our disposal here.
Another big change that happened was I received a generous early inheritance from my father and was able to undertake a very substantial renovation to our heritage farm house!
I think I’ll keep it short and sweet for a restart and leave it here while I collect my thoughts and photos about our big renovation. It’s quite a tale to tell and I’ve got to figure out how much I can squeeze in here for you all.
In the meanwhile, hello again! I’m going to try and make this a habit so I hope to be back soon.
